MovieLens Forums: Major Changes on December 12th!

We are very happy to announce that we will be launching a major upgrade to the MovieLens forums next week, on December 12th. The new site will be called "MovieLens Q&A". This is part of our research program to understand how online communities function. We are constantly working to make your experience with MovieLens better, and we welcome your feedback.
Because of the extent of the changes to the discussion interface, at the time of the switch-over, we will make the existing forum posts read-only. Thus, old conversations (including the famous "what's the last movie that you watched" thread) will be archived.
Here's a preview of what's coming. Let us know what you think:
Main page
In MovieLens Q&A, you'll be able to read the latest questions, search for questions and answers, and see plenty of information about what topics and movies are being discussed.
Question page
The question page has a cleaner look, but still contains information-rich links to the movies that you are mentioning in the text.
As always, we welcome your feedback.
