Bug report: No recommendations, newest movies, ratings, tags, similar movies or any other lists generated

No matter what I try to search, the following message returns: "There are 10567 movies matching your search:
Show Printer-Friendly Page | Download Results | Permalink" and nothing else. Even the basic search is broken. I tried to search for Amelie, for example, and the search engine gave the following result: "MovieLens does not have any movies matching the criteria above."
I'm only able to access movies through About Your Ratings page, Animal Group pages, tags on the main page, tags on one particular movie, movie links on the main page and links on the discussion board. None of the movies I find have similar movies or predictions (only "???") regardless of the number of users who have rated them. New Movies and DVDs on the main page haven't got predictions either.

Had to create a link here, so I can rate that movie today. Apparently all ratings are saved however.

same, i can only get movies that don't have predicted ratings to show up

I'm not getting any recommendations either. Do I need to wait a day for a server update or something? I don't see any solutions in the help files or here.

Normally you don't have to wait for any updates (except when ML calculates new ratings for a movie, it takes several hours for new ratings to show up on movie statistics). Hopefully they'll fix the bug soon. Probably the site will momentarily go offline.

It's broken for me too, I can't launch any search.
I always have the same result : 10567 movies as stated above.

I worked around the search problem by using advanced search and searching by movie director (tip: sort by release date)

I, too, am getting nothing. When I search for a movie that I know is in the database such as The Godfather, I am told that there is no criteria for the search. Also, I cannot access my ratings, etc. Seems like there is something wrong here today.

I discovered that if you click the "Suggest a title" link when you get no results, and then enter your desired movie's IMDB URL, you will then get a link to the movie on MovieLens. I've got no predictions or wishlist either, but my tags are working.

Here (still) the same problem, the system is not really of any use without this feature, is it? :)
