Which cliches irritate you the most in films?

Watching a shitload of Hollywood films, I'm sure you can come up with a huge list of cliches that are very iritating. List the ones that make you want to punch the director in the face.....................WITH YOUR FIST!
I'm a little drunk right now, so maybe tomorrow I'll have a clearer mind and list more, but here's a short list for now:
-Emotional musical montages in ensemble indie films which have sad music with characters from different stories crying. Please stop it! CRASH is one of the worst victims of doing this...then Look Both ways had like 4 emotional musical montages.
-I don't know the name of this technique, but when you read the dialogue scenes I quote from John Q, you'll know:
Denzel Washington: Goodbye son.
Son: It's not goodbye, dad. It's see you later.
fast forward 95 mins close to the end, where this scene has dramatic music, so I suppose we're supposed to be caught up in the emotion of it:
Son: Goodbye dad.
Denzel: It's not goodbye, son. It's see you later.
Gaaaah stop that! That is so fucking corny! It was pretty lame when my mom was repeating the line, "It's see you later"
-The cliche of having thunder and lighting strike everytime an evil character is revealed or something shocking. Wallace and Grommit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit did an excellent job of parodying that cliche.
-Romantic comedies: A story where the protagonist is in love with a girl, who's about to get married to the biggest fucking dipshit asshole. Everyone in the movie can see that, except for the dumb girl who needs the protagonist to rescue her from marrying such a dipshit asshole.
ie: Wedding Crashers, the wedding singer
I'm glad that in Spiderman 2, the girl Mary Jane was about to marry actually was a nice guy to her...so the way it ended, you kinda felt bad for the guy, but was happy for Mary Jane and Spiderman.
That's what I got for now. Post yours.
