Hottest Sex Scene
[archived]
Excluding run of the mill porn, what "mainstream" movie has the the most arousing/hot sex scene? To start the discussion... I suggest Basic Instinct.

  I agree.
Maybe everybody does, could be the reason why nobody replies.
Am I wrong?

I don't think any film can top the sex scene in Don't Look Now.

I usually don't care for sex scenes. I think I agree more with David Fincher's approach to them.

However, the one that springs to mind at the moment is in The Order, that Heath Ledger movie. I don't remember why, though...

I haven't seen it in years, but I seem to recall that "Betty Blue" was pretty good for that.

Some interesting thougths for the HOTTEST. To add a bit more "juice" to this thread... let's also throw out everyone's suggestion for the movie with the WORST sex scene... my proposal is 9 and 1/2 weeks: the ice cube on the nipple and molasses on the thighs [:O] was far from arousing! What a waste of Kim Basinger! [:((]

In Don Juan de Marco, Johnny Depp's seduction of the woman in the restaurant. Although the seduction was hotter than the sex. That's true for most movies. The lead-up is sexy, but when they get to the actual act, I start thinking about blocking and wonder whether the guy wore a sock (no, not on his foot). Kills the mood for me.

Anything from Sex, Lies, and Videotapes. There actually wasn't really that much sex, just implied--cut away once anything would start or whatever--but the movie made the idea of sex just so boring.

I agree. Same with the pottery scene in Ghost.

Totally agree about the scene in Ghost... wasn't it Saturday Night Live that did the spoof on that scene??? Now that was FUNNY!

There's many spoofs of that scene. I like the Family Guy one where Peter is a Ghostbuster and sucks him into that vacuum thing.
