Can you change the format of the hyperlinks in the forum e-mails you send? Right now if you click on the e-mailed links, it takes you to the very first post in the thread instead of the most recent one you are being notified about. For example, I just got an e-mail with this link:
http://movielens.org/forum/viewthread?thread=15
The much more useful format would be:
http://movielens.umn.edu/forum/viewthread?thread=15&offset=1170...
This link is already being generated for the little icons on the forum front pages, so not much extra coding should be necessary.

Hey Kurt,
Indeed, a good suggestion, and a pretty quick fix.
I modified the link to point to the oldest post in the thread since you were last emailed (this is sometimes different from the most recent post in the thread). I hope it's better!
