The WORST films EVER
[archived]
This should be fun...

Which films do you think should never have been made?

Here's my list, in no particular order (apologies in advance if I offend anyone!):

(Based on my lowest rated films)

The Haunting (1999)
The Next Best Thing (2000)
Get Shorty (1995)
Dumb & Dumber (1994)
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (a.k.a. The Grinch) (2000)
Bringing Out The Dead (1999)
Bicentennial Man (1999)
Sommersby (1993)

My least favourite movie of all time (I'm excluding the ones I've walked out of) was written by the (main) writer of my favourite movie of all time.

Give it up, folks, for Danny Rubin: the shapeshifter responsible for S.F.W. and... Groundhog Day!

I still think that Plan 9 from Outer Space is among the very worst films on earth. Imagine having someone who doesn't know anything about Ed Wood watching this movie. This person will be truly shocked.

There are only few modern-day equivalents that come to my mind. Uwe Boll movies are a likely candidate, however, there are all kinds of theories around them. One of them states that he makes terrible films on purpose because he can use the budget losses for tax reasons.
Of course this is just another theory, but it is the only one that explains why he still manages to make new films.

The only true modern-day contestant to Plan 9 that I've seen is Trolls 2. If you are a bad movie buff, it's a must-see. Total cringe alert!

Must the that steaming pile of dung called Kids. [X-(]

Worst waste of time ever. No redeeming features whatsoever. If I hadn't been on a date, (who persuaded me to see it), I'd have stormed out and demanded a refund.

Whats more, I spent the entire movie hoping one of the principal characters would blow his nose. Whether his talking through his nose was meant to be method acting, I don't know, but it really bugged me throughout every one of the nanoseconds he was onscreen...

The top 5 of the "Worst of the Worst" that I have had the displeasure of viewing:

Napoleon Dynamite
Batman & Robin
Ring (Ringu)
Rushmore
Deep Blue Sea

It caused great pain and I lost considerable amounts of intelligence by watching each of these films.

Little Man. I had to screen this the other night, and as bad as White Chicks was, Little Man made it look like Citizen Kane. I only gave it half a star because I couldn't give it zero.

Anything with Sanda Bullock with it (excluding Speed)! Barbara Streisand is also that kind of actress that I can't watch her movies.

Worst ever movie is (as far as I know) still...Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot, which is even worse than both Oscar and Rocky V. Those three movies in early 90's made it clear that even great Sylvester Stallone could make bad films. He had made homerun after homerun in late 70's and 80's.

  Big Momma's House

The writer of this movie should have been shot, but no, we let him live and now this writer ([noLink]aka[/noLink] Satan) went on to make a sequel, which was the equivalent of a turd falling into my drink.

The worst movie I have ever seen is not listed on Movielens. I saw it years ago on television:

Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla

I kid you not. This is a real film.

Check out the IMDB reference:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0044406/

A truly painful experience. Bela Lugosi and two guys who are Martin and Lewis knock offs. Absolutely the worst ever.
