You mean you think it's too short to be included in ML's database? Well, I guess the guru made an exception because La Jetée (1962) is a highly regarded and very influential short film, so in it goes, despite its mere 28-minute running time. But don't ask me why the title won't link here in the forum.

Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave and other Aardman short films are here too. Good that in some cases Guru can bend the rules a bit because some short films are simply remarkable!

Good point.

No, I love La Jetee. That's why I was surprised upon stumbling upon it on this site, because the whole "no shorts" rule seemed the most clearly defined and easiest to follow rule, and it's being bent in a few places. I just found that odd.

I can understand the Aardman shorts a bit easier as they're honestly open to so many people and are quite beloved mainstream-wise (plus they're on a DVD set which could be construed as one full movie in a sense), but even with La Jetee's influence, it's still a film that doesn't get very much public appraisal.

Steamboat Willie is there, too.
